How to use Candles?

You can use our tall tealight and pillar candles with onyx jars or as standalone décor elements.

Our tall tealights are designed to fit all sizes of crystal jars. For a brighter glow of your onyx jar, we recommend using tealights. They enhance the natural translucency of the jar, making the textures and overall radiance more vivid and striking.

Trimming the wick

Remember to trim the wick before each use, or immediately after extinguishing it if using scissors. You can use our candle Wick Trimmer for this purpose.

Before each new lighting of the candle ensure that the wick is trimmed to approximately ¼ inch/0.5 cm to promote even burning, prevent sooting, and to extend the life of your candle.

Lighting the candle

Using our signature reusable Electric lighter or your own tools, carefully light the candle wick.

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the jar's surface, especially during the initial lighting, to avoid tunneling and ensure even burning in the future, thereby extending the life of your candle.

Extinguishing candles

It is an important process that should be done correctly to ensure safety and prolong the life of the candle. Here are the main recommendations:

  1. Use Bell Snuffer: This prevents wax splatter and minimizes the smell of smoke.
  2. Do not blow out the candle: This can cause wax splatter and smoke.
  3. Dip the wick into the wax using our Wick Helper : This reduces smoke, prepares the wick for the next use, and helps center and straighten the wick, prolonging the life of your candle.
  4. Let the candle cool: Allow the wax to fully harden before moving it.
